Telling stories through Jiu Jitsu

Jiu Jitsu has incredible benefits — none more powerful than its impact on mental health. A big part of my work with non-profit Rise Community Jiu Jitsu and apparel brand Common Ground has been weaving that message into their brand story and video content in a way that feels authentic and connects people to what they stand for.

Together with Good Energy we created a series of videos that communicated their unique selling point and most interesting set of stories. As part of a wider social strategy, this drove a significant uplift in their 100% renewable energy tariffs.

An amazing opportunity to be involved with such a wide reaching and impactful Greenpeace campaign. I led the project that saw a huge production effort creating a trio of videos that put pressure on the UK government to sort the recycling system.

It’s not every day you’re asked to create a video for a summit addressing the world’s most influential mayors. Collaborating with animators and motion graphics designers, we crafted a powerful video that called for global action on the climate crisis.
